Overseas Tankers was established with the strategic vision of developing one of the world’s leading and most modern fleets of IMO Type II Chemical Tankers. Since inception, the Company has remained focused on delivering safe, efficient, and reliable maritime transportation solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the global chemical and energy shipping markets.
The Company operates a fleet of advanced MarineLine-coated IMO Type II chemical tankers ranging from approximately 17,000 to 25,000 DWT, with vessel deliveries commencing in July 2008. These modern vessels strategically position Overseas Tankers to respond effectively to the increasing international demand for chemical transportation services, driven by global economic expansion, stricter environmental standards, and the gradual phase-out of older tanker fleets.

Overseas Tankers benefits from a highly experienced senior management team with decades of expertise in the identification, acquisition, integration, operation, and management of chemical tankers, crude oil tankers, bulk carriers, and other specialized vessel categories.
Members of the management team hold or have held prominent positions within respected international maritime organizations, including the International Shipping Federation (ISF), International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), INTERTANKO, INTERCARGO, the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Greek Shipping Cooperation Committee, Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Bureau Veritas, British Marine Mutual, and the Union of Greek Ship Owners.
